Jailbreak 4.3.1 Might Be No GO!

I read an interesting post by ModMyi today and it talked about the problems occurring with Comex. These were the guys that brought us and Snowbreeze. Well the exploit Jailbreakme used in the 4.0 and 3.2 firmwares was supposedly patched by apple in their updates to these firmwares 4.0.1 and 3.2.2 respectively. However the people at comex knew that the exploit wasn't completely fixed and were waiting on when to release it. Well they waited to long and in firmware 4.3.1 fixed the exploit again and this time it is for good. the people at comex believe that there could be a spy for apple lingering amongst these hackers, which is bad news for us jailbreakers. Because lets be honest Apple released three firmwares since and none fixed this exploit and right when comex was going to utilize this exploit apple happens to fix it. Seems a tad shaddy, but it could be coincidence.

Beyond all this all of us jailbreakers should take this out of the news. 1) That a untethered jailbreak for firmware 4.3.1 may take two or three weeks before there is on released hopefully sooner. 2) That if there is a spy jailbreaking will be harder to come by in the future so be careful when updating firmwares.
