I just read an interesting story on engadget about hints toward gaming in the Apple TV’s 4.3 beta firmware. Personally I have thouht apple would try and enter the video game industry. It only make sense to me since their iPhone and iPod touches have become the number one portable gaming device as well as their rival Microsoft dominates the market on the other end with tv gaming. Think about the ability to use your iDevice as a remote and the Apple TV as the receiver that projects the image on the TV. Sounds reasonable right? I think so! Also Apple has the technology to make ths work. They already set up a social gaming network with Game Center, which can rival xbox live. Also they have their app store that can double as the location where the Apple TV users can buy theor games.
