VLC 3.0 will support Chromecast

It was discovered last week that VLC, the popular video player, will support Google's Chromecast in its newest update. This means users of this app will be able to stream local media on their devices to their TV connected to Google's Chromecast. The app will likely be released for iOS, Droid, Macintosh and Windows operating systems. This means that for the first time people within the apple ecosystem will be able to stream videos stored on their phone to their TV.

The release date for the update has not been announced so, be sure to follow me on my social media platforms. I will be posting a video on how to use the app once it is finally released. Hopefully the upcoming release of the third season of House of Cards can keep you busy while you wait.
